Shocking! MBBS doctor raped, blackmailed by her friend; case filed

A female doctor in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, has filed a case of rape and blackmail against her friend. The doctor alleged that her friend first raped her, then threatened to make the video viral and even took the money.

Giving more information in this regard, Chainsingh Raghuvanshi of Piplani police station in Bhopal said that on Wednesday, a 24-year-old MBBS doctor woman came to the police station and lodged a complaint. According to the woman, her friend raped her at a hotel in MP Nagar and Piplani area. She alleged that her friend also filmed the whole act. He then threatened to make the rape video viral and took Rs 1.5 lakh from the woman. After taking money from doctor, the accused posted the video on social media, after which the victim lodged a complaint with the police station.

According to police, the victim had been friends with the accused since two years. The two were talking to each other for several days after the friendship. Then in November 2019, the accused called the woman for a party in a hotel and raped her there and made a video. The accused then threatened to make the video viral and took nearly Rs 1.5 lakh from her.

The bank account details of the accused are being investigated on the basis of the allegations made by the victim. The accused youth is a resident of Indore. A case has been registered against the accused under Section 376. Further charges may be filed against him once the money is withdrawn.
