Hyundai Creta, Venue, Alcazar updated with additional safety features

The South Korean company Hyundai has launched three SUVs at the same time. The company has introduced the famous mid-sized SUV Alcazar to the Creta and the most affordable model, the Venue, with new safety features. The new security features will further strengthen the SUV lineup. With the latest updates, the price of this SUV has also increased.

Hyundai has upgraded the SUV category in a single stroke. All three SUVs have been launched in India. It has an engine, new safety features, and some cosmetic changes.

In the Hyundai Creta, the company has included 6 airbags, rear disc brakes, etc., while in the Alcazar, 6 airbags have been provided. All six airbags will be available in all cars. Apart from this, some new features such as seat adjustment, ISOFIX anchors, etc. have also been added to Creta.

The Hyundai Venue has been given a more powerful engine than before. With an attractive look, a powerful engine, and new safety features, the SUV starts at a starting price of Rs 7.68 lakh. The top and variant are priced at Rs 13.11 lakh (ex-showroom). 

A Creta engine has been used in the new Hyundai Venue. It has a 4-cylinder CRDI turbodiesel engine. This engine generates 115 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. This engine comes with a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox.

The new Hyundai Venue is based on the facelift model launched last year. The company has introduced new front grilles, split headlamps, and tail lamps, among other changes. The company has provided mid-level S-side airbags for the Venue SUV.

The car has features like Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Hill Assist Control (HAC), and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Automatic headlights, engine immobilizers, burglar alarms, reverse parking sensors, and recurring cameras Four airbag standards have been given.

Apart from the new features added to the Hyundai Creta, there are no other changes to the SUV. The 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine (115PS and 144Nm of torque), the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder diesel (115PS and 250Nm of torque), and the 1.4-litre petrol engine will be available. The turbo-petrol engine produces 140 K of power and 242 Nm of torque.

The Creta SUV has been given six airbags. Features such as Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), Rear Disc Brake, Seatbelt Height Adjustment, and ISOFIX Child Anchor are provided.

Hyundai Alcazar has added new safety features to this SUV. The SUV starts at Rs 16.10 lakh and goes up to Rs 20.85 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top model. This SUV is available in six- and seven-seat configurations. A start/stop function has been provided to reduce fuel usage.
