KL Rahul is the only Indian batsman in the top 5 on the list of most-run scorers in ODIs in 2020. In the list dominated by Australians, Rahul sits at the fifth spot with 443 runs in nine matches that he played throughout the year. Surprisingly, there is no Virat Kohli in the top 5.

Australian captain Aaron Finch finishes 2020 with most runs. The opening batsman scored 673 runs in 13 matches. He batted at a solid average of 56.08 and struck at 81.67, which is probably on a lower side considering that Finch is known for scoring at a quick pace. He scored two centuries in 2020 - both against India.

Finch is followed by his former captain, Steven Smith. The middle-order batsman piled up 568 runs in nine innings from 10 matches. He averages 63.11 and struck at 106.56. Smith scored 3 centuries, most by any batsman in 2020. He also bagged the Player of the Series award in the recently-concluded ODI series against India.

Following him is another Australian, Marnus Labuschagne. The right-handed batsman was handed his maiden ODI call-up for the India tour and he made his debut against the Men in Blue in January. Labuschagne scored 473 runs, which includes a century.

The fourth spot is acquired by another Australian, David Warner. Aussies' former vice-captain finished the year with 465 runs at 42.27. He also scored a century in 2020 - against India.

The top five batsmen include four Australians and Lokesh Rahul is fifth with 443 runs. Surprisingly, Virat Kohli did not make it into the top five.

The Indian captain is sixth with 431 runs. With just 12 runs, Lokesh Rahul overcame it this year. For the first time since 2009, Virat has not scored a single century in a calendar year.

Oman's Akib Ilihas is seventh with 400 runs with two centuries and two fifties.

Australia's Glenn Maxwell is eighth on the list with 353 runs under his belt.

In the 9th spot is England's Johnny Bairstow (346 runs).

India's Shreyas Iyer is 10th on the list with 331 runs.
