'Indranagar ka gunda' dialogue from batting legend Rahul Dravid's recent ad has gone viral on social media.

Dravid's ex-teammate and former India pacer Venkatesh Prasad on Sunday took to Twitter to take a dig at former Pakistan batsman Aamer Sohail using a reference of the 'Indranagar ka gunda' dialogue.

Prasad shared pictures from his famous face-off with Sohail during the India-Pakistan clash from the 1996 World Cup. The heated exchange between the duo had taken place during Pakistan's run chase when Sohail slammed a four off Prasad and pointed his bat towards the boundary rope.

Prasad cleaned up the left-hander on the next ball and completed his revenge. "Me to Aamir Sohail in Bangalore at 14.5- #IndiraNagarkaGunda hoon main," Prasad wrote on Twitter as he recalled the famous face-off between the duo.

A Pakistani sports presenter left a distasteful comment while reacting to Prasad's post and said the incident with Sohail was the 'only achievement' of his international career. The former Indian pacer was quick to respond and shut down the Pakistani presenter with a brilliant reply.

"Prasad only achievement in his career," wrote Najeeb ul Hasnain - a Twitter user, who describes himself as a sports presenter. "Nahi Najeeb Bhai. Had reserved some achievements for later. In the very next World cup in Eng in 1999 , took 5/27 at Manchester against Pakistan and they were unable to chase 228. God bless you," Prasad wrote back.

The heated exchange between Prasad and Sohail had become one of the iconic moments of the World Cup and is still fresh in the minds of millions of cricket fans, who had witnessed the incident live on television.

India went on to win the game 39 runs after Pakistan were restricted on 248/9 in pursuit of the target of 288 runs. Prasad had finished the game with excellent figures of 3/45 in his ten overs.
