Ranbir Kapoor takes on the role of a rich, bratty, and violent son in his latest release, "Animal." Beyond the intense violence, stellar acting performances, and thrilling music, fans are also appreciating the film's production design.

Interestingly, the lavish home featured in the film is none other than the iconic Pataudi Palace, located near Delhi. Clips from the movie and historical videos of Pataudi Palace available online reveal identical galleries, lobbies, and passageways. During the film's shoot last year, a crew member even tagged Pataudi Palace as the shoot location on their Instagram Stories.

Presently owned by Saif Ali Khan, the palace originally belonged to Saif's father, the late cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan. After a hotel company took control, Saif personally bought back the property. The palace, also known as Ibrahim Kothi, is situated in the town of Pataudi in Haryana’s Gurgaon district and is presently occupied by Saif's mother, actor Sharmila Tagore.

Built by Saif's grandfather, the Nawab of Pataudi, Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi, the estate is renowned for its regal and opulent interiors. With expansive hallways, tall arches, and adorned walls showcasing paintings and artwork, the palace exudes luxury.

Covering 10 acres, the property boasts 150 rooms, including seven dressing rooms, bedrooms, billiard rooms, and grand drawing and dining rooms. The estimated value of this opulent estate is a staggering ₹800 crore.

Notably, Pataudi Palace has served as the backdrop for several films, including "Eat Pray Love," "Mangal Pandey," "Veer Zara," "Gandhi: My Father," and "Mere Brother ki Dulhan." Saif's own Prime Video show, "Tandav," was also filmed at the palace.

Meanwhile, "Animal" has achieved blockbuster status, garnering ₹425 crore worldwide within just four days of its release. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film features an ensemble cast including Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna.
