Amrita Rao reveals she lost out on Salman Khan’s Wanted because of a vengeful manager

You may remember Amrita Rao of marriage fame. Amrita made her Bollywood debut in 2002 with 'Ab Ke Baras'. After this she was seen in 'The Legend of Bhagat Singh'. But Amrita got real recognition with Shahid Kapoor's films 'Ishq Vishq' and 'Vivah'.

Amrita Rao entered Bollywood. But her image remained as 'girl-next-door'. Needless to say, she did not get any success. Even her manager threatened her at the beginning of her career.

Yes, Amrita herself has revealed this after many years. Amrita has made a shocking revelation in her book 'Couple of Things'.

Yes, Amrita was approached for a super duper hit movie of Salman Khan. But Amrita lost this opportunity because of the manager. The name of this movie was 'Wanted'.

She wrote, “A few months ago I came to know that I have been approached for a Salman Khan film. Meanwhile, I was shooting for a Telugu film with South superstar Mahesh Babu.”

“After the shoot, I met a person from the production team at the hotel, who worked with Boneji. They questioned me. He told me that if your dates had matched, you would have worked with us for Salman's Wanted.”

She further said, When asked who told you that my dates were not matching, they said, we called your manager. But, they told us that you are busy and your dates are not free.

I was shocked to hear this. Little did I know that my manager had hidden such a huge offer from me. After getting such a big offer, I would have done anything to save my time. Finally, I fired the manager in anger, wrote Amrita.

In 2016, Amrita married RJ Anmol secretly. Amrita and Anmol were dating for 7 years before marriage. Of course, Amrita hid all this from the world.

Amrita and Anmol met during an interview. After this interview, both became close to each other. Anmol got dengue two years before marriage. Meanwhile, their friendship turned into love.
