Reema Sen got married to businessman Shiv Karan Singh on March 11, 2012. She was not seen during the promotions for 'Gangs of Wasseypur'. When she was asked about it, she said, 'I was on vacation. "That's why the entire film crew was abusing me." 

Reema Sen had also narrated an anecdote during the shoot of 'Gangs of Wasseypur' saying 'I wanted to shoot the scene. In which I intended to hit Manoj Bajpayee but instead hit him hard. Then he jokingly said, 'May God protect your husband'.

Reema had said that her husband had sent her roses and balloons after watching the film 'Gangs of Wasseypur'. She was very happy about it.

Reema said that before modelling, she was very fat and never thought that she would do it. Reema has also acted in a few hit films in Tamil.
