Daisy Shah had taken to her social media platform and posted a photo with a book that invited massive trolling.

What possibly went wrong? Find out!

Daisy posted a photo of herself as she held onto A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini and was seen laughing as she posed with the open book.

She was seen wearing a white tank top and pants while sitting in a garden/forest area.

This led to people to people trolling her and calling her out for laughing while reading the book which deals with sensitive issues such as illegitimate child and abusive marriage.

Netizens retweeted the photo with comments such as “There were zero (0) comedy scenes in my copy of 'A Thousand Splendid Suns'”

“This is one of the saddest books. It leaves one disturbed for a few days after reading it. I probably didn't read it right, it seems” among others.

The actress took to her Instagram stories and posted an apology note on the same. Check out a snapshot of it below:

Daisy had also taken to the comment section yesterday and had lashed out at the trolls. One tweet said, "You don’t know me or my life. Am I a reader or am I using things as a prop or was I also having a conversation with some1 at the very same time or may be not. So you know what make ur own stories about whatever you want”

In the second tweet belonging to the same thread, she wrote, “And Yes if you find a rule book about these things (that you should do this and do that). Please do care to share... i will wait for it.” Here are Daisy’s lash-out messages:

The photo now stands deleted on both Instagram and Twitter.
