Irrfan Khan, who won the hearts of the audience with his acting, passed away recently. His demise has shocked everyone.

Irfan has a fan following not only in India but all over the world. He had played more than one quality role in Bollywood films like Piku, Pan Singh Tomar, The Lunchbox.

He also starred in Hollywood films such as Life of Pi and Jurassic World. Irfan was seen in the lead role in Tom Hanks' film Inferno.

Actor Irrfan Khan was battling a serious illness like neuro endocrine tumor for the last two years. He finally overcame the disease in April last year.

After returning to India after completing his treatment, Irfan removed his face mask and posed for the media. Not only that, Irfan was emotional on his Twitter account and thanked the fans.

Irrfan Khan shared his illness on Twitter two years ago. His fans were shocked when they found out. Actors in Bollywood, his fans had prayed for Irrfan to get well soon.

After about 9 to 10 months of treatment, Irrfan Khan was cured.

He later also shot for a Bollywood film Angrezi Medium which was released a few months back.

The actor had revealed about his illness through a Twitter post shortly before flying abroad for further course of medication.
