Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan are going to be parents again. Both are expecting their second baby. This news has been confirmed by Saif Ali Khan himself. He said, ‘One member is going to join the family, we are expecting another baby. Thank you, love and support to all your loved ones.’

It was in 2016 that Kareena Kapoor Khan gave birth to her first child Taimur, who became paparazzi’s favourite child and an internet sensation. Four years later, the actress is now gearing up for baby number two.

Last year in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Kareena had said that she and Saif are extremely busy with work and that they are happy with Taimur.

She said, “There is no good news related to a second child in my life. Both Saif and I are happy with our kid Taimur Ali Khan. As of now, we don’t have any plans for a second child. We both are very busy with our work and are trying to balance our professional and personal lives.”

Notably, the announcement comes on the birthday of Sara Ali Khan, Saif's daughter with Amrita Singh. She turned 25 on Wednesday.

Earlier, on Wednesday, Kareena’s father Randhir Kapoor reacted on the rumours surrounding her pregnancy and said, “I hope it’s true and if so, I would be very happy. Doh bachche toh hone chahiye (One should have two children) to give each other company.

Saif and Kareena met on the sets of Tashan and fell in love with each other. After dating for some time, they tied the knot in 2012 and Kareena gave birth to Taimur on December 20, 2016.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan will be next seen in Laal Singh Chaddha opposite Aamir Khan which is postponed to December 2021

Saif, on the other hand, will be seen in Amazon Prime show Dilli, films Bhoot Police and Bunty Aur Babli 2.

This is Saif Ali Khan's fourth child, the nawab is already a father to Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan who are children from his first marriage to actress Amrita Singh.
