"I am a die-hard romantic, person, I see myself with four children, says Bhumi Pednekar

Bhumi Pednekar is one of B-town's most sought after stars today, and during her session titled Girl Uninterrupted: On playing the life-changing role of a Covid warrior at e-Mind Rocks 2021, the actress also talked about her parents' thoughts about her marriage.

She revealed that marriage has never been a topic of discussion at her home. She also said that her parents want her and her sister, Samiksha Pednekar, to be responsible citizens of the country and not a burden on society.

At e-Mind Rocks 2021, Bhumi Pednekar said, "Both my parents are progressionists. Marriage has never been a topic of discussion.

Just like the roles she plays in her films, Bhumi Pednekar says she is a die-hard romantic and would love to get married. She said, "I am a die-hard romantic. I believe in the institution. I see myself with four children and I have seen perfect marriages around me with my parents and aunts and uncles being examples.

So, I feel there are certain things I won't compromise on at all. Marriage is more about companionship and the day I get that, I think I will be happy."

Apart from being one of the best actresses in Bollywood today, Bhumi Pednekar is also an environmental activist and often voices her opinions on her social media platforms.

During the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, she initiated a project to help people affected by Covid-19.

Recently, on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Bhumi Pednekar took to her Instagram handle to celebrate the anniversary with a compilation of BTS videos.

She also shared how the film became successful in bringing a change into people's lives, as over 1000 toilets were installed under Swachh Bharat Mission. The Shubh Mangal Savdhan actor also shared that these 1000 toilets impacted the lives of over one lac people. Bhumi was last seen in Durgamati, which was released on Amazon Prime Video. She has an array of films in the pipeline. She will be next seen in Badhaai Do alongside Rajkummar Rao. Bhumi has reunited with Akshay Kumar for Aanand L Rai's Raksha Bandhan.
