hea Chakraborty, in an exclusive interview with India Today's Rajdeep Sardesai, talked about the eight hard drives that were allegedly destroyed at Sushant Singh Rajput's Bandra home on June 8.
The actress also adressed allegations of changing the late actor's staff and said that she didn't know Sandip Ssingh.
Sushant Singh Rajput's friend and creative content manager Siddharth Pithani, in his statement to the CBI, had said that Rhea and Sushant had a fight on June 8 and eight hard drives were destroyed.
Talking about the same, Rhea said, "This is a baseless allegation, there was no hard drive that I know of, no one came while I was there. Perhaps, after I left, his sister, who was there from June 8 to June 13, may have called someone, but I am not aware of it. Till the time I was there, nothing of the sort happened.
"I don't even think Siddharth Pithani said something like that, I believe this is a made up story, much like several others doing the rounds," Rhea Chakraborty added.
On leaving Sushant Singh Rajput's home on June 8 and her conversations with Mahesh Bhatt on the same day, Rhea said, "I was definitely very upset and hurt because he (Sushant Singh Rajput) didn't call me back, and didn't want me back.
"Is it over for him, I thought. Ki ab main bimaar hoon toh aap nahi chahte mujhe? Naturally bura feel hota hai. (I wondered if he wanted to push me away because I was unwell). But my conversation with Mahesh Bhatt saab had nothing to do with that", said Rhea
On the allegations of changing Sushant Singh Rajput's staff, Rhea said, "This is a baseless allegation. I did not do anything to gain control of his life.
Sushant knew Siddharth since before he knew me and used to live with him before I came. Samuel Miranda was hired by his sister, Priyanka.
Even Keshav, Neeraj and Dipesh were with Sushant since before me. In fact, he introduced me to them. I did not hire them, said Rhea.
On being asked if she knew who Sandip Ssingh is, Rhea said, "I don't know Sandip, he has never come home, and never called. If he is such a good friend, where was he for the last year and a half?"
