After Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut was the latest celeb to visit the holy shrines of Kedarnath.

The Tanu Weds Manu actress was accompanied by RRR writer Vijayendra Prasad and Kailashanand Maharaj.

Kangana Ranaut, who is looking forward to the release of her upcoming film, Emergency, recently visited Kedarnath Temple. The actress shared her experience with a beautiful video and pictures on social media. Amid tight security, she was accompanied by Emergency writer Vijayendra Prasad who has also penned RRR, along with Kailashanand Maharaj and MLA Umesh Kumar.

For the temple visit, the actress opted for a traditional blue outfit with boots and a dusty-rose pink bomber jacket to beat the chilly mountain breeze.

A holy paste was smeared on her forehead. She captioned the pictures and wrote how she was fortunate to visit the pilgrimage where the divine power of Lord Shiva resides. Coming to the professional front, the 36-year-old actor was last seen in Dhaakad, which also featured Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta. The film performed poorly at the box office. Currently, Ranaut is awaiting the release of her next film, which is also her second directorial venture, Emergency. Based on the 1977 Indian Emergency, the ensemble star cast also stars Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry and Milind Soman in pivotal roles.
