Kareena Kapoor reveals why she married Saif Ali Khan

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan stand out as one of the most celebrated celebrity pairs in the Bollywood industry. They share the roles of parents to a six-year-old named Taimur and a two-year-old named Jeh.

Kareena and Saif exchanged vows in 2012 after having been in a relationship for several years, including a period of living together. Recently, Kareena, affectionately known as Bebo, shared insights into her choice to marry Saif.

Kareena Kapoor, in an interview with Dirty magazine, revealed that the only reason she and Saif married was to have kids.

She said, The reason you get married now is that you want to have a child, right? I mean today, otherwise you can just live together. [Saif and I] lived together for five years, so when we took the next step, it was because we wanted to have children.

She also opened up about their way of parenting and revealed that there is no right or wrong way. We treat them as individuals, we respect them, and we just let them be.

They will figure it out, they will find their own path. Kids are quite resilient. I want to live my life in front of my kids, I want to do everything with them. We have to be happy na, then they will flourish. I’m responsible for my own mental health first.

Kareena Kapoor Khan is set to appear in the upcoming film 'The Buckingham Murders,' taking on the role of Jasmeet Bhamra. The movie is directed by Hansal Mehta.

Kareena now has The Crew alongside Tabu, Kriti Sanon and Diljit Dosanjh in pipeline. It is all set to hit theatres on March 22, 2024.
