Money Laundering Case: Jacqueline Fernandez hearing postponed till December 12

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez is relieved. The hearing in the Sukesh Chandrasekhar money laundering case was going to be held in Delhi's Patiala House Court today. However, there was no debate on the allegations against Jacqueline Fernandez in the court and the hearing was adjourned till December 12.ers paint protest messages on Karnataka bus over border dispute.

Jacqueline has been in trouble ever since she was named in the 200 crore money laundering case with conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Ever since the Enforcement Directorate named the actress as an accused in its chargesheet.

Special Judge Shailendra Malik, (who had earlier granted interim bail to Jacqueline) granted bail on the condition of hearing the arguments presented by the ED and furnishing a personal bond of Rs 2 lakh and a surety of like amount.

ED had argued in court that Jacqueline can easily run away from the country as she has no shortage of money. To this, the court questioned why when the LOC had been issued and the rest of the accused were in jail, why the actress had not been arrested yet? At the same time, bail was sought from Jacqueline saying that there was no need for custody as the investigation had already been completed and the charge sheet had also been filed.

While the actor had denied dating the conman last year, a photo of the two of them together made headlines. The conman had reportedly spent a lavish amount on Jacqueline Fernandez, from gifting her limited edition perfumes, designer bags and outfits, as well as hiring private jets and more. Sources said, that Jacqueline Fernandez was completely in Sukesh’s clutches and had, with marriage on her mind, told her friends that she had found her “dream man”. The Economic Offence Wing of Delhi Police, which is probing the extortion case against Sukesh Chandrashekhar, found that the conman spent a lot of money on Jacqueline Fernandez and her close acquaintances to impress the Bollywood actor.
