The holiday season in December is bringing a fresh wave of entertainment to various OTT platforms, featuring diverse genres from teen musical drama to comic specials and action films. Here's a curated list of five titles capturing attention this weekend.

Directed by Zoya Akhtar, "The Archies" boasts a star-studded cast including Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, and more. Set in the 1960s, this heartfelt coming-of-age tale explores the lives of a beloved group of teenagers. The film, a collaboration between Netflix India, Tiger Baby, Archie Comics, and Graphic India, is set to release on Netflix on December 7.

Featuring the dynamic duo of Neena Gupta and Jackie Shroff, "Mast Mein Rehna Ka" is a beautifully crafted story directed by Vijay Maurya. It revolves around universal themes of second chances in love, forgiveness, and redemption. The film, also starring Monika Panwar, Abhishek Chauhan, Rakhi Sawant, and Faisal Malik, will be available for streaming on Prime Video from December 8.

Directed by National Award-winning director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, "Kadak Singh" stars Pankaj Tripathi as AK Shrivastav, a man with retrograde amnesia entangled in a web of lies while attempting to recover his memory. The film, featuring an ensemble cast, is scheduled to premiere on ZEE5 on December 8.

Zakir Khan, the comic artiste-writer-actor, presents "Mann Pasand," a streaming special filled with quirky stories from his experiences, friendships, and relationships, set against the backdrop of a memorable Goa trip. Produced by OML, the special will be available for streaming on Prime Video from December 7.

This Tamil western action comedy film, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, is a prequel to the 2014 hit "Jigarthanda." Starring Raghava Lawrence and S. J. Suryah, the film set in the 1970s revolves around a filmmaker and a gangster collaborating to create a Western film. "Jigarthanda DoubleX" is set to stream on Netflix on December 8.
