Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone's name has popped up in the drug probe linked to Sushant Singh Rajput death case after screenshots of a purported WhatsApp chat between her and her manager, Karishma, surfaced online.

In the purported WhatsApp chat from October 28, 2017, Deepika Padukone messaged to Karishma asking “You have maal?”, to which Karishma said that ‘she has it at her home, but she can ask someone to arrange it for Deepika’.

Responding to which, Deepika said that she wants ‘hash and not weed’.

In the same chat, Karishma asked Deepika when will she be going to Koko, to which the Padmaavat actress said, “at around 11:30/12ish”.

Deepika is yet to give her statement on the allegations that have surfaced.

Deepika Padukone is the first child of ace badminton player, Prakash Padukone.

Recently, in Nat Geo’s show, Mega Icons, Deepika Padukone made her appearance and opened up on her childhood days and how she had moved away from her home to pursue her career in modeling.

Deepika has pinned the blame for the revelation of the drug chats on Karishma Prakash and talent manager Jaya Saha.

Deepika also called a 12-member legal team in Mumbai via video conference for seeking advice. Her husband Ranveer Singh is also said to have joined the call.
