Shark Tank India's Ashneer Grover once rejected cricketer Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma as brand ambassador

Ashneer Grover came into the limelight from Shark Tank India. He participated in this as a judge. Ashneer Grover will not be seen as a judge in Shark Tank India Season 2. But after that it is once again a topic of discussion.

In a recent interview Ashneer Grover has made a big revelation about Indian cricket team player Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. Virat Kohli was rejected as the brand ambassador. At half the price he quoted Virat Kohli.

Ashneer Grover shares an incident that reveals what happened when Virat Kohli was approached for a brand ambassadorship and why he decided to turn down the deal?. Grover revealed that even though he was with Virat and his actress-wife Anushka Sharma.

Ashneer said he was discussing the IPL deal with some brokers. He wanted to advertise his brand on the back of the players' jerseys. Some brokers had advised to take Virat Kohli in this.

The brokers advised to include Anushka Sharma in that package along with Virat Kohli. But I didn't want to do what the reputable company did. So I rejected the names of Virat and Anushka for the brand ambassadors suggested by the brokers, says Ashneer.

I met Virat Kohli and told him about it. I told him that after rejecting you, I bought the remaining 11 players for half the price of your contract. On this, Virat Kohli said that this is a great business deal.

Ashneer narrates another incident when he tried to negotiate with Bollywood actor Salman Khan's team to appear as a brand ambassador for one of his entrepreneurial ventures. This time I wanted to bring Salman on the plane, but more on him.
