SRK’s Co-Star Shikha Malhotra recovers from Brain Stroke-Paralysis

Actress Shikha Malhotra who starred in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Fan is all set for her comeback in the showbiz industry.

The 29-year-old featured in films like Kaanchli, Running Shaadi and The World Unseen.

During the first wave of Covid 19, Shikha volunteered as a nurse but soon her world turned upside down.

Shikha Malhotra had made the headlines in 2020, when she had returned to work as a nurse during COVID-19. A month after the release of her debut film Kaanchli Life in a Slough, she donned her white uniform and joined the Covid ICU in a BMC hospital, Mumbai. She helped many patients and was also promoted as a patient counsellor. She became a true inspiration for many, however, working in the field came with harsh consequences as she herself got covid.

Following her diagnoses, she suffered a major brain stroke that left her right side paralysed. Now in an interaction with celebrity paparazzi Viral Bhayani, she opened up about her recovery journey

She explained how she “could not even think of getting back to my acting profession.” Shikha went on to add that she gained a lot of weight due to “the steroids given to her.” After 2 years of recovery, she is now gearing up to “meet myself once again.

The actress, who essayed a small role in Shah Rukh Khan’s Fan, also shared her bikini pictures with the pap, stating that she wanted to talk about her transformation as it was “about life and death.” Netizens now taken to the comment section of the post to shower her with love and admiration
