Bollywood movies and controversies are nothing new. However, after politics entered into the controversy of this film, the film either suffered a huge financial loss or made a huge profit. Currently there is a lot of controversy about the movie The Kerala Story.

A few days ago, there was a controversy in the country due to the movie The Kashmir Files. The BJP leaders strongly criticized the film saying that it is a film that exposes the injustice done to Kashmiri Pandits.

Now, The Kerala Story movie is also being supported and opposed as the movie is being heavily discussed everywhere including social media. The film has been banned in some states.

Controversies of the film are not only happening now, but even in the 1970s, controversies have arisen from the film. Now, we are witnessing the controversies surrounding the film The Kerala Story and Kashmir Files. But, there have been such disputes before.

The Kashmir Files - The movie The Kashmir Files directed by Vivek Agnihotri created a lot of controversy. The director was accused of running certain propaganda while showing the injustice done to Kashmiri Pandits.

Aandhi: This movie released in 1970 was also controversial and politicized. This film was banned by the then Prime Minister. The movie was not allowed a full proper release when Mrs. Gandhi was in power. The film was banned during the national emergency of 1975 a few months after its release. This film was banned on the alleged grounds of violation of the Model Election Code of Conduct, claiming it can cause damage to the reputation of the Congress party. So Election Commission stopped the film from releasing. The ban got further added with the declaration of National Emergency. The ban immediately made the film a national topic. After her defeat in the 1977 national elections, the ruling Janata Party cleared it and had it premiered on the state-run television channel.

Padmaavat - Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone's film Padmaavat was also surrounded by controversy. The film was opposed by the Rajput Karni Sena. Karni Sena expressed anger over the scene between Padmini and Khilji and demanded a ban on the film.

Bajirao Mastani - The controversy arose from producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Bajirao-Mastani. Descendants of Peshwa Bajirao alleged that the film misrepresented the characters of Bajirao and Mastani.

Also, there was controversy over the dress worn by Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in the song Pinga-Pinga. Accordingly, a letter was also sent to the producer of the film.

Panipat - The film was opposed by the Jat community due to the portrayal of Jat Maharaj Surajmal in the film. Rajasthan, Haryana . The film was opposed in many places in Uttar Pradesh.

In the film, Maharaja Surajmal demands the Agra fort to help the Maratha army in their battle against the Afghan ruler Ahmed Shah Abdali. By not accepting this condition, it was shown that they would not support the Maratha army which sparked a huge controversy.
