Vidya Balan is set to play a screen detective in the upcoming film Neeyat.
The movie is directed by Anu Menon, who directed Shakuntala Devi.
The first look poster of the film has been unveiled, and Vidya Balan shared it on her social media handle.
The movie features a star-studded ensemble cast, including Ram Kapoor, Rahul Bose, Neeraj Kabi, Shahana Goswami, Amrita Puri, Dipannita Sharma, Niki Walia, Shashank Arora, Prajakta Koli, and Danesh Razvi.
Neeyat is described as a suspense story, with an unlikely detective investigating murders at a billionaire's party.
The movie is written by Anu Menon, Priya Venkataraman, Advaita Kala, and Girvani Dhyani, with dialogues by Kausar Munir, and is set to release in theaters on July 7, 2023.
