The Aryan Khan drug case has now become a piece of social news and spotlight for every citizen, every day the case is taking different turns, After the arrest of Shah Rukh Khan son's Aryan Khan in Drug case the Zonal director of NCB Sameer Wankhede who arrested Aryan Khan has come to the light.
Sameer Wankhede is accused of accepting a bribe of Rs 8 crore in the Aryan Khan drugs case. Following the removal of Sameer Wankhede, the case has been handed over to the SIT headed by senior police officer Sanjay Kumar Singh.
Sanjay Singh is an IPS officer of the Odisha cadre and has been appointed as the Deputy Director of the Bureau of Narcotics Control (NCB). He is currently working at the NCB headquarters in Delhi.
Sanjay Singh is a 1996 batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer from Odisha. He was transferred to the Delhi NCB office after taking over as Additional Commissioner of Police for Odisha.
Sanjay Singh has held key positions in the Odisha State Government. While heading the Drug Task Force (DTF) at the Commissionerate of Police in Odisha, Singh launched several anti-drug campaigns to crack down on drug trafficking rackets in the state.
After that, Sanjay Singh was promoted by the government and transferred to the Delhi office. During his tenure as Additional Commissioner in Odisha, he was the head of the Drug Task Force, which uncovered a number of drug dealings.
After Sanjay Singh took over as the Deputy Director of the NCB, he faced a major challenge in curbing the drug and cannabis trade. The Cabinet Appointments Committee (ACC) has appointed Sanjay Kumar Singh (IPS) as Deputy Chief of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
Sameer Wankhede was constantly accused after the cruise drugs case. NCP spokesperson Nawab Malik had leveled various allegations ranging from alleging that the cruise raid was a plan to living in Wankhede.
Wankhede was found in dispute. Prabhakar Sail had also made a shocking confession in the cruise drugs case after that. The Mumbai NCB had also demanded Rs 25 crore from Shah Rukh Khan.
