When people fulfill their hobbies, they are doing such things which makes no sense. Now take these 4 chairs only. These very old and broken chairs were auctioned off. Many buyers also came. Surprisingly, these four chairs were not sold at similar prices. They cost 22 crores rupees. Yes, you read it right. People are stunned after knowing the price of these chairs.

These four antique chairs, built in 1778, were built for Charles X, the younger brother of King Lois XVI of France. Now the seat of these chairs, its back part and legs are also broken.

The king had these chairs built by a Parisian artisan. He also made a bed with them. It is also to be auctioned.

It was expected that these chairs would be sold for up to 44 million. But they bid 22 crores. Which was surprising for everyone. They were built before the French Revolution in 1789 but sold out four years later.

These chairs were built by the king for his brother and a sister. These were specially carved. Years later, even though its condition worsened, it is still the best in terms of art pieces.

The King Charles X who owns these chairs has been quite infamous. He left France in 1789. After that he escaped in many countries. He finally returned to his country in 1814.
