The Taliban took control of Afghanistan just days after US troops decided to withdraw from Afghanistan.

He will now have unrestricted power in Afghanistan. It is impossible to say right now how many days, months and years it will last. However, at the moment, the Taliban are more likely to be Osadgaon's Patil as Afghanistan's coffers are empty.

The Afghanistan Bank has total assets of १० 10 billion. These assets include gold worth ३ 1.3 billion, or Rs 9,500 crore. The central bank also has foreign deposits worth ३ 360 million.

The bank also has gold bricks. However, the bank has kept all the loot safe outside the country. The proposal was made by the Afghan bank through the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD).

The bank has also tried to prevent ancient statues and artefacts from falling into the hands of the Taliban and has sent them to safety. So the Taliban have no money to run the government.

The Central Bank of Afghanistan (The Bank of Afghanistan) has withheld Rs 74,000 crore in cash. Recognizing the Taliban's plight, the bank has already taken the money and other assets out of the country.

Even in the United States, some wealth has been hidden. In such a scenario, it would be difficult for the Taliban to run the country.

In spite of all this, the Taliban have taken control of Afghanistan, but there is no peace in it. The Taliban's emphasis will be more on looting.

Also, more and more oppressive taxes will be levied on opium transactions. The Taliban will appeal to the international community to return the central bank's assets to the country, experts say.
