Here's why Taliban's presence in Afghanistan is a big threat to India

The ongoing political situation in Afghanistan is set to affect India's trade. Prices of dried fruits and fresh fruits imported from Afghanistan have started rising. In just a few days, the price of dried fruits has gone up by 10 to 12 per cent.

Indian exporters have expressed fears that the Taliban regime would affect bilateral trade between Afghanistan and India. The shortage of dried fruits and fresh fruits, especially from Afghanistan, will affect the Indian market.

The Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO) has expressed concern over the latest situation in Afghanistan. He said the situation in Afghanistan could hurt domestic exporters.

Praveen Khandelwal, National Secretary General of the Confederation of All India Traders, the country's largest association of 80 million traders, said:

So, tea, coffee, pepper, cotton, toys, footwear and various other consumer goods are sent to Afghanistan from India. Clouds of uncertainty are now hovering over Afghanistan. over import of dry fruit and fresh fruits in to the country.
