Michel de Nostredame was a French astrologer, physician and reputed seer, who is best known for his book Les Prophéties, a collection of 942 poetic quatrains allegedly predicting future events. The book was first published in 1555.

Nostradamus made many predictions about the world in a book called ‘Les Prophéties’. The first edition, which came out in 1555, had a total of 6338 prophecies, of which 70 percent have been close to the truth, their predictions are told in verses known as 'Quatrain'.
