Vladimir Putin built his property within days of entering politics in 1996. The property is located in the forest of Valdai, 250 miles from Moscow.

Vladimir Putin has served as the President of Russia since 1999. Putin attempted to build a 'Golden House'-like home in St Petersburg, also known as the Winter Palace.

Vladimir Putin invited his 39-year-old girlfriend Alina Kabaeva home after officially divorcing his wife Lyudmila Ocheretnaya. Putin then began building a new home for girlfriend Kabaeva in 2020.

A boat dock was built near Kabeva's house in 2021, the report said. From there, a boat can be used to travel through a small canal to a luxurious palace park spread over 28-hectares (70-acres).

A large spa complex with a solarium, cryo chamber, 25-meter swimming pool, hammam, sauna, mud room, massage bath, cosmetology and dentistry area is roughly equidistant from Putin's and Kabaeva's homes.

Apart from that, there is also Putin's private armored train by the lake. A safe station has been set up near his house, the project said. Railway stations can be seen in satellite photos of the house taken by the project.

Putin has private train stations for his residences in the nearby Russian cities of Sochi and Novo-Ogaryovo. According to the report, an investigation by Project Journalists revealed several facts related to the Russian president's assets.
