Forbes unveiled its list of the 100 most powerful women on December 5, highlighting influential figures across various fields. Notably, four Indian women secured top spots, representing impactful contributions in CEOs, entertainment, politics, and philanthropy.

The Indian women who took the highest spot is our finance minister and Minister of Corporate Affairs, Nirmala Sitharaman. Last year She was at 36th place and now her rank has improved to 32.

Next on the list is Indian billionaire and philanthropist Roshni Nadar Malhotra, who holds the 60th rank. Roshni, the daughter of HCL founder Shiv Nadar, is recognized as the wealthiest woman in India.

Chairperson of Steel Authority of India Soma Mondal ranks at 70th number.

Kiran Mazumdar took 76th rank in the list. She is a founder member of Biocon limited and Bicon Biologics Limited in Bangalore.

President Ursula von der Leyen maintains her position as the top-ranking individual for the second consecutive year. European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde secures the second position, with U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris claiming the third spot. Remarkably, all three of these top-ranking individuals have successfully retained their positions.
