If you are a fan of trains and train stations, this property might interest you. A former railway station in the UK, which was converted into a home with a real train carriage in the garden, has reportedly gone on sale with an asking price of £5,50,000 (Rs 5.6 crore)

जुन्या रेल्वे स्थानकाचं आता रुपडं पालटण्यात आलं आहे. छोट्याशा पण तितक्याच सुंदर घराचं मालक होण्याची संधी आता उपलब्ध झाली आहे.

Although the transformation is yet to be completed, pictures of the finished work have gone viral and earned praise from netizens. Station Halt, as it called, is at Brampford Speke and was part of the Exe Valley Railway in Devon since May 1, 1885.

The staff at the station were sent home in 1923, following which the place became an unmanned halt for trains. Almost 40 years later, the station was finally closed due to Beeching cuts.

According to a Metro.co.uk report, the station was turned into a home soon after it stopped all operations. It had a sitting room that opened to the platform and the ticket office served as the bedroom.

Now, the property has been renovated with added attractions like an old railway carriage, a wooden chalet, and a pond.

The main section of the station has two reception rooms, a garden room, a sitting room, a kitchen, and three bedrooms.
