March marks the beginning of spring and Summers; and the end of the Winter season.

The month of March will begin with the auspicious vrata of Lord Ganesha, Angarak Sankashta Chaturthi.Along with this, Maha Shivratri, Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati Jayanti, and Parsi New Year are some of the significant observations in the month of March.

Phagun Sankashti Chaturthi (Dwijapriya Sankashti Chaturthi) is on 2 March. This Sankashti is also known as Dwijpari Sankashti.

Shri Gajanan Maharaj Prakat Din Utsav is observed in Magh month. It is not the birth anniversary but appearance anniversary festival of the great saint from Maharashtra, Shri Gajanan Maharaj. The most important activities on the day are held at the temple dedicated to the saint at Shegaon. Shri Gajanan Maharaj Prakat Din Utsav 2021 date is March 5.

Ramdas Navami is the death anniversary of Samarth Ramdas. Ramdas Navami 2021 date is March 6.

Swami Dayanand Saraswati's birthday is celebrated on Monday, March 08, 2021. This day is also celebrated as International Women's Day. He could have spent his life happily if he wanted to, but he did a lot of social work.

Tuesday, March 09, 2021 is Vijaya Ekadashi. According to scriptures, Vijaya Ekadashi is considered the best of all vratas. Vratas performed on this day bring blessings to Lord Vishnu

Thursday, March 11, 2021 is Mahashivaratri. The festival of Mahashivaratri is celebrated with great enthusiasm. It is believed that worshiping Shiva-Parvati with sincerity on this day brings good results.

Wednesday, March 31, 2021 is Sankashta Chaturthi. This is the fourth day of the month of Falgun. This is the second Sankashta Chaturthi in one month. Earlier in January, there were two Sankashta Chaturthi.
