Due to increased humidity and excessive perspiration during monsoon, our clothes tend to be quite smelly.

Bacteria also grow in clothes which emit foul odour which increases the risk of skin infection.

It is difficult to dry clothes quickly in the rainy season, so after washing the clothes, dry them in an open and well-ventilated place. You can also dry clothes on fan air. This will prevent the clothes from foul smell.

Often in the rainy season a kind of humid atmosphere is created in the house. So the clothes also start to smell different. In this case, it is wise to keep washed clothes in open air instead of in the cupboard.

Rainy days reduce the smell of dry clothes. After washing such clothes, the water should be squeezed well.

Humid air makes wet clothes stink. Use lemon juice when washing clothes in such cases. This will remove the odor of the clothes.

Do not keep clothes soaked or used in the rain for a long time. Wash wet clothes immediately.

If the washed clothes still smell, iron them once before using them or keep them under the fan air at night. Ironing completely removes the smell of clothes.

Use newspaper to dry clothes. Place the newspaper under the clothes hanging on the hanger. Paper absorbs water.

Baking soda can be used to remove odors from washed clothes on rainy days. Use detergent, baking soda or vinegar when washing clothes. You will see the difference immediately.
