Zomato's Top Demand in 2023: Pizza, Biryani, and Noodles Lead with Crores of Orders

Numerous restaurant and food delivery enterprises, such as Zomato and Swiggy, are actively entering this sector. These companies strive to provide food delivery services to customers at their preferred locations.

There is a competitive trend in ordering a variety of food items directly from the convenience of a mobile app. Nevertheless, determining which specific food or dish holds the highest preference among online food orders can vary and is subject to individual tastes and regional preferences.

Zomato has disclosed the preferences and aversions of its customers, providing insights into the most ordered food items through its platform.

In 2023, Zomato has revealed insights into customer favorites and the most ordered dishes, with biryani emerging as the top choice, having garnered the highest number of orders.

Zomato has recorded an impressive 10 crore 9 lakh 80 thousand 615 orders specifically for biryani. According to Zomato, consolidating all these orders into a single entity would create a stack of biryani eight times taller than the iconic structure of Qutub Minar.

Securing the second position on the list is pizza. In the previous year, Zomato received orders for pizza from a substantial 7.45 crore customers.

Noodles claim the third spot on Zomato's list, with a notable 4,55,55,000 customers ordering them online. Zomato highlights that if all these orders of noodles are assembled, they would be sufficient to encircle the Earth 22 times.

A resident of Bengaluru holds the record for spending the highest amount on Zomato, having placed the largest order amounting to Rs 46,273. Additionally, an individual from Mumbai set a noteworthy record by placing 121 orders in a single day.

Mumbai claims the top spot for the highest number of Zomato orders, with a staggering 3,580 orders placed in a year.
