Aditya Thackeray's close aide Sainath Durge detained in Sheetal Mhatre video morph case

6 months ago, there was a split in the Shiv Sena after the results of the Legislative Council elections in the state. Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde took a different stance by remaining in the party along with his supporting MLAs. 40 out of 55 MLAs of the Legislative Assembly supported Shinde's rebellion.

The struggle of this split in Shiv Sena was seen at the local level. Shinde and Thackeray office bearers came face to face at many places. From the Central Election Commission to the Supreme Court, the battle between these two groups was going on.

Eknath Shinde got Shiv Sena name and symbol in it. A video of Sheetal Mhatre, a prominent office bearer in Mumbai, who supports the same Shinde, has gone viral on social media. Mhatre registered a case in the police station regarding this offensive video.

The reaction of Sheetal Mhatre's video was directly felt in the state assembly. It was alleged that the video was morphed and circulated to deliberately defame a woman. Shiv Sena-BJP women MLAs demanded to find out who is the mastermind behind this.

Taking action in this case, the police arrested Sainath Durge, who is close to Aditya Thackeray. Sainath Durge is the prominent face of Aditya Thackeray's Yuva Sena. Sainath was a member of the Bombay Senate. Along with this, he is responsible for the position of Yuvasena executive member

Who is Sainath Durge? - Sainath Durge, who was once the vice president of MNS Vidyarthi Sena, joined the Yuva Sena in 2015 in the presence of Aditya Thackeray. He had said that he joined the Yuva Sena after being impressed by Aditya Thackeray's working system.
