The recent floods across the state has wrecked havoc in everyone's life and and troubled by the same, a family in Bhandara, Maharashtra is in a huge dilema.

The family is engaged in drying up the money saved for the daughter's wedding, which got drenched in the flood.

According to reports, the labourer had to get his daughter married and he was busy saving money for the same. Now at this time, he is drying the remaining money on the road so that his daughter can get married.

The labour's family is in great grief at this time because apart from the money, all the things they collected for the wedding has also been swayed in the floodwaters.

The poor family is surrounded by problems from all sides. The daughter was to be married in the coming month, but now the poor family does not understand what they will manage everything.

Due to the rise in the water level of the Wainganga river in Vidarbha, there has been a flood. The effect of floodwater has reduced in some areas, but many frightening pictures of the damage have been surfaced.

Many of the people lost their home and some have lost their belongings in the floods. During this time, the poor people living in slums are suffering heavy losses.

The floods have caused devastation in Bhandara and Gondia districts since 1994.

According to the information received, 62 villages in the district have witnessed floods.

About 18,000 people have been affected by the flood and they have been evacuated to safer places.
