There are currently 2 factions of Shiv Sena in state politics. The leaders are divided between Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Uddhav Thackeray. As many as 40 MLAs and 13 MPs of Shiv Sena supported Chief Minister Eknath Shinde while remaining 15 MLAs sided with Uddhav Thackeray.

Ahead of the 2019 assembly elections, BJP-Shiv Sena formed an alliance. But in the result, 106 BJP MLAs were elected, after which Uddhav Thackeray, who won 56 seats, parted ways with the BJP over the demand for the post of Chief Minister.

For the first time after the results of 2019, Shiv Sena-Congress and NCP, the three opposing parties in the state, came together to form the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). After that, Maviya's government was formed in the state after which Uddhav Thackeray became the Chief Minister of the state.

But even before the 2019 elections, Uddhav Thackeray worked to overthrow the BJP candidate. Along with this, Vijay Shivtare, a former minister and currently in the Shinde group, made a big claim that the planning to establish the Mahavikas Aghadi was a conspiracy even before the elections.

Vijay Shivtare said that Shiv Sena-BJP candidates were pitted against each other in 70 seats and those seats were vacated. Uddhav Thackeray did this. The settlement was made before the election. How to reconcile the statistics of which seats to lose, which seats to win

Mahavikas Aghadi did not happen after the result. This was already done. The people were deceived. The government that was formed after that was not in the interest of Maharashtra. Vijay Shivtare also made a secret blast that I planted the seed of this uprising in Eknath Shinde's head.

I was sitting in paradise for four and a half hours. This government is not in the interest of Maharashtra. Uddhavsaheb is wrong. You put pressure on them. This front should be broken. Shivtare said that I had expressed my sentiments before Eknath Shinde that there should be a BJP-Shiv Sena government.

Even earlier, Vijay Shivtare made serious allegations against Uddhav Thackeray. After the Shinde government came to power in the state, Vijay Shivtare joined Balasaheb's Shiv Sena. While reacting at that time, Shivtare targeted Uddhav Thackeray.

Vijay Shivtare had then said that I did not meet Uddhav Thackeray. I wrote a letter of many demands when he was Chief Minister. No decision has been taken on it. Didn't even answer. Those who built the constituency for 15 years were told to fight from another constituency.

Along with this, the people know who Sanjay Raut's loyalty is. Why don't Sanjay Raut and Uddhav Thackeray know what Maharashtra knows? Raut may have suffered from schizophrenia. Vijay Shivtare also criticized that Raut thinks that he knows everything.
