Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde took part in a cleanup initiative at Juhu Beach in Mumbai on Saturday, actively driving a tractor during the event.

Before the cleanup drive commenced, CM Eknath Shinde paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi and participated in the cleanup efforts at Juhu Beach.

Accompanying CM Shinde were Mumbai Guardian Minister Deepak Kesarkar and Mumbai Suburban Guardian Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, emphasizing the government's dedication to environmental endeavours.

The primary objective of the event was to enhance awareness and inspire people to play a role in maintaining the cleanliness of public spaces.

In response to the heightened pollution levels in Mumbai, the Maharashtra government has instituted various measures to address the issue. In alignment with these efforts, the Mumbai Municipal Corporation initiated an extensive cleanliness campaign across all departments. Today, the Mumbai Municipal Corporation executed a cleanliness campaign in five wards within the Municipal Corporation's five divisions.
