Japanese ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki's Mumbai exploration wins heart

People from every corner of the world are drawn to the vibrant streets of Mumbai, which holds a special allure. Mumbai, the financial hub of the country, is also home to the glitz and glamour of Bollywood, where celebrities are a common sight.

Even prominent individuals who visit Mumbai are keen to explore the city and learn about its various aspects. The Japanese Ambassador, who played a significant role in providing India with the bullet train, also appeared to develop a liking for Mumbai.

During his visit to Mumbai, Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki opted for a unique mode of transportation by boarding a local train. Intriguingly, he captured a moment of his journey by taking a photograph while standing at the train's entrance.

In a tweet, Suzuki expressed his presence in Mumbai and showcased his keen interest in exploring the local market. One of his photographs indicated his special attention towards Mumbai's vibrant marketplace.

It appears that Suzuki approached a street market in Mumbai and inquired about a shirt priced at only Rs 100. Surprisingly, he purchased the shirt and engaged in a friendly conversation with the shopkeeper.

In his tweet, Hiroshi reached out to his followers and sought their opinions. He specifically asked for their advice on whether he should proceed with the purchase of the shirt. As expected, numerous responses poured in from his followers, providing their input.

Suzuki also had meetings with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Fadnavis expressed his commitment to enhancing the bond between Japan and Maharashtra, stating, “We are committed to take Maharashtra Japan relationship to newer heights of success."

In the first picture, Devendra Fadnavis can be seen presenting a traditional Paithani saree as a gift to Suzuki.

In the month of April, Suzuki had a meeting with Eric Garcetti, the US Ambassador to India. During their discussion, they also talked about the future collaboration between India and the Quad and G20 summits.

During his visit to India, Suzuki took the opportunity to share pictures from different locations. One of the pictures he shared showed him enjoying a traditional dish called bati chokha in Varanasi.
