Today is the holy festival of Baisakhi, but the effect of the coronavirus was seen on this colorful festival.

It is a spring harvest festival for the Sikhs. Baisakhi commemorates the formation of Khalsa panth of warriors under Guru Gobind Singh in 1699.

Every year, the crowd gathers loudly at the gurudwara on this festival, but this year due to lockdown, silence has spread everywhere.

People celebrated the festival of Baisakhi by staying in their homes, which is also appropriate given the situation in the country.

According to folk tales, Khalsa Pant was founded by Govind Singh Ji, the last Guru of the Sikhs in the year 1699.

Guru Govind Singh gave his five disciples a drink of nectar and said that they would now be called Singh.

The festival of Baisakhi is celebrated all over the country, but in Punjab and Haryana it is seen separately.
