US-based Hindenburg Research accused the Adani Group of fraud. The allegation led to a steep fall in Adani Group's shares. The opposition parties criticized the Modi government on this allegation. Home Minister Amit Shah made allegations in this regard in the session for the first time today.

In the budget session, the Congress had raised many questions on the central government in the parliament. Amit Shah has reacted to this today. Home Minister Amit Shah said, 'Since the Supreme Court has taken notice of this matter, it will not be appropriate to comment on it.

The Hindenburg report created a political uproar throughout the country. In Parliament, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi attacked the central government and Prime Minister Modi.

Amit Shah has reacted in this regard during an interview. The Adani case is in the Supreme Court. The court is looking into it, so it is not appropriate for me to say anything while I am a minister, but there is nothing for the BJP to hide or fear.

The Congress and other opposition parties have accused the government of favoritism and capitalism in the Hindenburg-Adani dispute. The issue was raised in the budget session of Parliament demanding an inquiry through a joint parliamentary committee.

The opposition parties have targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this matter. He has sought a reply on the investment of LIC and some public sector banks in the Adani group.

The Center told the Supreme Court on Monday that SEBI has agreed to set up a committee to protect the interests of investors following the Hindenburg report on the Adani group.

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta informed the bench of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud.

"Sebi is fully prepared to deal with the situation arising out of the recent Hindenburg Research report. Mehta also said that the government has no objection to appointing a committee to ensure the safety of investors in future.
