Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on Sunday evening in an alleged liquor scam. CBI had interrogated Sisodia for about 8 hours before his arrest.

After this arrest, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said that Manish Sisodia is completely innocent. Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh also termed Manish Sisodia's arrest as a dictatorship.

Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party came to power in the capital Delhi in 2015. Since then, many of our leaders have been arrested in various cases.

Before Sisodia, AAP leader and Delhi minister Satyendar Jain was also arrested by ED last year. This action has been taken against them in the alleged hawala case.

Aam Aadmi Party MLA Amanatullah Khan was also arrested in a case related to illegal recruitment and financial scam when he was chairman of the Delhi Waqf Board. He is currently out on bail.

Among the arrested AAP leaders, Punjab MLA Amil Ratan Kotfatta was also arrested in a bribery case.

Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has condemned the arrest on Twitter. He wrote on the handle, 'Manish Sisodia is innocent. His arrest is dirty politics.

There is an atmosphere of anger among the people due to Manish's arrest. People are all watching. People are understanding everything. People will answer this. This will boost our morale even more. Our struggle will become stronger.'

Meanwhile, Manish Sisodia, accused number one in the CBI FIR, was questioned on October 17 last year.

A month later, on November 25, the CBI filed a chargesheet in the case. Manish Sisodia was not named in the CBI charge sheet, as the CBI investigation against him and other suspects and accused was ongoing at that time.
