Modi govt planning to give unique health card which will contain complete medical record

At present, there are many cards available to the countrymen as identity cards. The most important one right now is the Aadhaar card. However, the Modi government is coming up with a new scheme and the people of the country will get another unique card.

Under the 'Digital India' scheme, the Central Government has launched the National Digital Health Mission. The aim of this campaign is to create awareness among the people in the health sector and connect them with the health campaign.

In addition, every person in the country will have to be provided better health care. The government wants to make maximum use of technology for this. This initiative has been named as Digital Health Mission.

The Aadhaar card has brought many benefits to the common man. Against this backdrop, the Modi government is now considering introducing a unique health card for Indian citizens. At the central level, such movements are currently underway.

In the last few years, the use of Aadhar card has made it possible for farmers and poor citizens to get government grants or financial assistance directly to bank accounts in times of crisis. The Aadhaar card is said to have brought more transparency in financial transactions.

Under the Digital Health Mission, the government will create a unique health card for each person. This card will be completely digital which will look like Aadhar card. You will get a number on this card, you will be given a number like Aadhaar number.

This number will be used to identify the person concerned while availing health facilities and schemes. This will make the medical background of the person concerned available to the doctor at the click of a button. The person will also be able to know where the treatment was received. This Unique Health Card will tell you whether the patient gets the benefit of Ayushman Bharat treatment facility or not. Under the Unique Health ID, the government will create a database related to each person's health. With this ID, the person's medical record will be recorded.

With the help of this ID a person's entire medical record can be viewed. If the person goes to the doctor, he will show his health ID. From this ID what treatment was previously given to the concerned patient, which doctor was consulted and which medications half.

The government will get information about the category of a person and his financial status from the database. On the same basis the government will be able to give the benefit of subsidy etc. First of all, take the mobile number and Aadhaar number from the person whose ID will be created.

For this, the government will create a health authority, which will collect personal data. Permission will be given by the Health Authority to collect the health records of the person who wants to make a health identity card. Further work will be done on this basis.

Healthcare providers affiliated with public hospitals, community health centers, health and wellness centers or the National Health Infrastructure Registry can create an individual's health ID.
