The Prime Minister's Skills Development Scheme was launched with the objective of providing employment to the youth of the country who have dropped out of school or college education. The main objective of this scheme is to organize the youth of the country and provide them with skills training and employment as per their qualifications.

The scheme also provides loans to the youth so that more and more young generation can be connected with the Centre's scheme. For this scheme, registration of three, six and one year is required. After completing this course you are given a certificate and this certificate is recognized all over the country.

The third phase of PM Skills Development Scheme (PMKVY 3.0) has started from February 2021. Under this scheme, skill training will be imparted to 8 lakh youth. Rs 948.90 crore will be spent for this.

According to the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, the Prime Minister's Skill Development Scheme has been launched in 28 states and 8 Union Territories. Vocational training will be imparted to the youth in the initial phase of the scheme. This will provide them with industry related opportunities.

The Prime Minister's Skill Development Scheme offers three, six and one year registration options. A certificate is also issued after completion of the course and it is recognized all over the country.

There is no charge for availing the benefits of the scheme. The course fee is paid by the Central Government. In this scheme, priority is given to the youth who have dropped out or dropped out of education. Anyone interested can apply for the scheme by visiting http://pmkvyofficial.org.

If you want to get technical education, you can take training in about 40 technical fields like electronics, hardware, food processing, fittings, construction. There is a facility to select your area of interest and take training in it.
