Sania Mirza of UP, India's first Muslim woman to become IAF fighter pilot

A TV mechanic's daughter has created history. It has taken a spectacular turn. Sania Mirza, a girl from Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh, is set to become India's first Muslim woman fighter pilot in the Air Force. Sania has secured 148th rank in NDA exam. This success is due to hard work.

Sania Mirza lives in a small village called Jasowar under Dehat Kotwali police station limits. Sania has passed her 12th from Guru Nanak Girls Inter College, Mirzapur and is a district topper in UP 12th Board. On April 10, she announced NDA 2022.

After clearing the exam, Sania joined the academy to prepare for the interview. According to reports, Sania will join the NDA at Khadakwasla in Pune on 27 December 2022. Sania's father is a TV mechanic by profession.

Sania's father Shahid Ali said that 'Sania Mirza considers the country's first fighter pilot Avni Chaturvedi as her role model. From the very beginning, Sania wanted to be like Anvi. Sania is the second girl in the country to be selected as a fighter pilot.'

Sania's mother Tabassum Mirza said, 'Our daughter makes us and the entire village proud. She has inspired every girl in her village by fulfilling her dream of becoming a fighter pilot.

Sania's inspiration Avni Chaturvedi is the country's first woman pilot. Right from the beginning she wanted to be like Avni. Interestingly, the National Defense Academy 2022 exam had a total of 400 seats for both male and female.

Out of which 19 seats were for women. At the same time, two of these seats were reserved for fighter pilots. One of these two seats has been secured by Sania Mirza. A TV mechanic's daughter has been hailed everywhere for her meteoric success.

The parents as well as the villagers are feeling proud at her.
