Morari Bapu is one of the famous Ram katha reciters of the country. They organize Ram katha not only in the country but all over the world. Thousands and millions of devotees gather to listen to Morari Bapu's story of Rama.

Morari Bapu, an Indian spiritual preacher and a renowned exponent of the “Ramayana”, has conducted Ram Kathas worldwide for over 60 years. Born in 1946 in Gujarat's Bhavnagar, he resides there with his family.

Morari Bapu has eight siblings, six brothers and two sisters. Morari Bapu is the youngest of all his siblings. His wife's name is Narmadaben. They have one son and three daughters.

Morari Bapu currently lives in Chitrakutdham Trust in Talgarjada, Gujarat. He has completed his graduation from Shahpur College, Junagadh.

Morari Bapu recited the story of Ram in 1960 at the age of just 14, which he narrated in the Ram Mandir of his Talgardja village.

Morari Bapu has participated in more than 900 Ram Katha programs in various countries including India, America, England, Australia, Dubai and has recited stories.

Morari Bapu reached Cambridge University campus on 15th August for Ramkatha. Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak also attended the program to listen to the Rama story. At this time Rishi Sunak bowed down before Morari Bapu.

Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi, industrialist Mukesh Ambani along with many big personalities have participated in reading Ramkatha of Morari Bapu. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was first called a Fakir by Morari Bapu.

The special thing about Morari Bapu is that he donates most of his earnings. During the Uttarakhand disaster, he donated one crore rupees.

After the Pulwama attack in 2019, Morari Bapu had announced financial assistance of one lakh rupees to each martyr's family.

Morari Bapu says that he does not need any comforts. They like to live a simple life.

Morari Bapu used to spend a lot of time with his grandparents as a child. His grandfather used to teach him the quatrains of Ramcharitmanas.

Every year the Muslim community organizes an event called Yad-e-Hussain at Mahua in Gujarat. Morari Bapu always attends this program as the chief guest.

Morari Bapu has not celebrated his birthday till date. He disclosed this during a TV program. He had said that he never celebrates his birthday.
