BJP Govt spent 252 crore for Poll Campaign in 5 states Elections this year

At the beginning of 2021, the state elections were held in 5 states of the country Assam, Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and Kerala, but the main focus and most discussed was the West Bengal elections.
After a lot of efforts of BJP Govt still, they couldn't able to make their Govt on West Bengal, CM Mamta Banerjee once again proved her dominance in West Bengal by beating the BJP. However, the Election Commission has released figures on how much money was spent by all parties for the elections in all five states.
It is being said that BJP has spent good money in all these five state elections. According to these figures, the BJP spent about 60 percent of the total expenditure on campaigning.
According to the details of election expenses submitted to the election panel, BJP spent Rs 252 crore 2 lakh 71 thousand 753 for the election campaign. Out of this, Rs 43.81 crore was spent for Assam elections and Rs 4 crore 79 lakh for Pondicherry Assembly elections.
In Tamil Nadu, where Dravida Munnetra Kalagham (DMK) snatched power from its arch-rival AIADMK, the BJP, which got only 2.6 percent of the vote, spent Rs 22.97 crore on the campaign.
BJP spent Rs 151 crore for elections in West Bengal. In Kerala, the existing LDF retained power, where the BJP spent Rs 29.24 crore.
The Trinamool Congress has also submitted its election balance sheet to the Election Commission. According to this, the Trinamool Congress has spent more money than the BJP for this election. Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress spent Rs 154.28 crore on elections.
After this, elections will be held in five states once again next year. In this, all eyes are on the Uttar Pradesh elections. At present, there is a BJP government in Uttar Pradesh. According to some estimates, if the BJP loses seats, Yogi will retain power
After Uttar Pradesh, elections in Punjab are expected to be spectacular. Because at present, the politics in Punjab is heating up. The Congress is divided and it will be interesting to see who the people will vote for in this election.
