Late leader Kalaben Delkar of Shiv Sena has won over Maheshbhai Gavit of BJP by more than 51,000 votes in the by-election of Dadra Nagar Haveli Lok Sabha constituency. Delkar is the first Shiv Sena MP who is not from Maharastra.

This victory of Shiv Sena will have a big impact on the politics in the state and the strategy against BJP. It will also help the army's out-of-state expansion.

The biggest credit for the Shiv Sena's victory goes to Sanjay Raut's vision. He brought Delkar into the party persuaded him to contest the Lok Sabha by-election. Due to the influence of Mohan Delkar in Dadra Nagar Haveli, this place easily became a district, and the elections were held here.

Mohan Delkar, who has repeatedly represented the Dadra Nagar Haveli constituency, committed suicide by hanging himself in Mumbai earlier this year and sympathy was in the constituency for the Delkar family.

The late Mohan Delkar had represented Dadra Nagar Haveli constituency for many years. He also had a personal impact on the electorate here people used to vote for him without seeing the party after him the same faith has given to his wife who was standing in the election on his behalf.

The by-election results in Dadra Nagar Haveli constituency clearly showed displeasure against the BJP. The suicide note, written by Mohan Delkar, contained serious allegations against local administrators. Meanwhile, dissatisfaction among voters has been expressed through EVMs.
