The condition of the capital city Delhi is getting worse every day due to pollution the Air for breathing is not even fresh and clear. After Diwali, the air quality has deteriorated a lot and due to the toxic air, such a toxic foam is now seen on the river Yamuna.

The shocking thing is that even in such polluted water people are still bathing in the river for Chhath Pooja, it is disgrace to worship in such conditions.

This is not the first time that the scene on the banks of the river Yamuna has gone viral on the occasion of Chhath Puja. But this time the picture looks grimmer. The Delhi government is also concerned about rising levels of pollution in the Yamuna water.

Not only Air pollution but water pollution is also increasing in Delhi rapidly, Ammonia levels in Yamuna water have increased tremendously this is a very serious problem for the citizens to look over.

Excessive levels of ammonia and phosphate are said to cause toxic foams in the Yamuna. Contaminated water is discharged into the river Yamuna from detergent manufacturing plants in Delhi. Detergents are high in phosphate and acid, resulting in foam.

These toxic foams have a high risk of spreading the disease. If such water is used for bathing, it can be more dangerous, the industry's waste is the main reason behind this crucial situation.

These are the views of the Kalindi Kunj area Delhi, bathing in this poisonous water can create big problems to the health of devotees, worshiping god in this condition is not safer nor necessary.

In November 2019, the character of Yamuna was very polluted in the same way. This polluted water can spread diseases at a very high level if communicable diseases arrive then it will be a very big issue for Delhi citizens.
