Following Airtel, Vodafone Idea has also decided to increase the prices of its prepaid plans. Vodafone Idea's new prepaid plans come into effect on Thursday.

After the tariff hike, users will have to pay more for add-on packs along with unlimited plans with data and free calling. Vodafone Idea's hike will be effective from Thursday, while Airtel's Pax hike will be effective from Friday.

Vodafone Idea's plan offering 1.5 GB of data is the most popular. Now customers will have to spend more on this plan. The Rs 249 plan with 28 days validity will now cost Rs 299.

The company has also increased the cost of its 56-day plan. The company's 56-day popular plan is now priced at Rs 539. Earlier, the price of this plan was Rs 449.

The Rs 539 plan offers customers 2 GB of data per day. Apart from this, for a 56-day plan of Rs 399, you will now have to pay Rs 479. Under this plan, customers get 1.5 GB of data per day.

For a plan that comes with a validity of 84 days, you will now have to spend Rs 839 for a Rs 699 plan. Under this plan, customers are offered 2 GB of data per day. Apart from this, for a plan of Rs 599 with 84 days validity, it is now Rs 719.

Similarly, the company's Rs 2399 plan has also gone up by Rs 500. The price of this plan has been increased to Rs. 2899. The validity of this plan is 365 days and it offers unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day. Also 1.5 GB internet per day.

The new Airtel rates will be effective from November 26. The company's Rs 298 plan, which comes with 28 days validity and 2 GB of data per day, will now cost you Rs 359. At the same time, Jio rates users Rs 289 with a validity of 28 days.

Similarly, Airtel's plan, which offers 56 days validity and 1.5 GB of data per day, will cost Rs 479 from Friday. Jio offers 58 days validity and 2 GB of data per day in its Rs 444 plan.

Airtel's Rs 449 plan will now cost Rs 549. The plan offers customers 56 days validity and 2 GB of data per day. Jio's Rs 599 plan offers customers 2 GB of data per day for 84 days.

The Rs 698 plan with 84 days validity will now be available for Rs 839. In this plan, the company is offering 2 GB of data per day. For a plan of Rs 598, you will now have to pay Rs 719. It offers customers 1.5 GB of data per day.
