WhatsApp testing new feature may allow users to mute calls from unknown number

For the past few days, users have been suffering from fake calls and messages on WhatsApp. Now, the company has saved the users from this trouble.

A new feature is being introduced by WhatsApp. Which provides mute call service for any unique number. With this new feature calls from unknown numbers can be muted.

A call from any unknown number in your contact list can be muted through this feature. The company has introduced this new feature due to the increase in SMS calling in the last few years.

For the first time WhatsApp is providing the facility to block unknown numbers. However, mute call feature is an additional safety feature.

WhatsApp has shared a protocol for platform users to avoid account ban. So if you can't block someone, users will get the option to mute that call.

According to WABetaInfo the new feature is now being developed on WhatsApp beta for Android. Along with that, a new feature will be provided by WhatsApp.

This new feature will be made for WhatsApp tablets and it is called Split View. With that, multitasking is going to be very easy and convenient.
