The team management has shown inability to play today's match after Chennai Super Kings bowling coach Laxmapati Balaji has tested covid positive. Wednesday's match between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals has also been canceled.

As Balaji has tested covid positive, the team cannot play until the next three tests of the players in contact with him comes negative, said team Chennai Super Kings. The team has said that it will take the next six days for the picture to clear.

"Tomorrow's match between Chennai and Rajasthan at Delhi's Arun Jaitley Stadium has been postponed in accordance with the IPL's Corona Restriction Rules. Chennai Super Kings bowling coach Laxmapati Balaji Corona has tested positive and all players who came in contact with him will have to abide by quarantine rules. They will be tested on a daily basis for the next few days, "said a BCCI official.

Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings were scheduled to play Rajasthan Royals tomorrow. Though it has been canceled, according to team management, Chennai are also scheduled to play Sunrisers Hyderabad in the next six days. Will that match also be canceled? This has now caught everyone's attention.
